It’s no secret naked dressing has been a huuuge trend this year, first sparked when Florence Pugh stepped out in *that* iconic totally transparent fuschia pink Valentino dress. In the time since, we’ve seen all our fave celebs jumping on the look, each repping it in their own unique way.
Recently, we’ve seen Rita Ora go braless in a sheer silver slip design while Eva Longoria has favoured cut-outs. Megan Fox opted for a fishnet-style naked dress with Paris Jackson repping an optical illusion nude graphic print dress. Nelly Furtado bared her back in a backless number that plunged all the way down to her butt, and just last week Rosie Huntington-Whiteley freed the nip in a lace top and tights combo.
But today we’re here to talk about Alex Scott‘s naked dress that she wore to attend last night’s Attitude Awards.
As well as winning the Sport Award at the event, we’re also crowning Alex one of the best dressed in attendance. Her stunning red carpet gown consisted of a high-neck long-sleeve figure-hugging fit constructed entirely from black lace. Going braless beneath the design, the see-through fabric revealed the black knickers she had on underneath. An XL feathered hem in a mermaid silhouette added to the already major drama of the look.
The former Women’s Health cover star skipped accessories entirely to allow the dress to rightfully take centre stage.
Also in attendance was Jess Glynne who twinned with Alex in a sheer black lace design. The singer’s outfit also featured the same high-neck and long sleeves, but Jess opted for a catsuit over a dress and layered a black leather coat over the top. Black high-waisted knickers were all she had on underneath, and she wore black patent knee-high boots on her feet.
First Rosie, now Alex *and* Jess… Forget your Grandma’s net curtains, lace is having a fashion moment.
