Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Rochester man is accused of sexually assaulting a girl while he was lodging in the basement of a home in northwest Rochester.
26-year-old Moices Francisco faces two counts of felony first-degree criminal sexual conduct. The charges filed in Olmsted County Court Thursday say the victim was between the ages of 10 and 12 during the alleged sexual assaults.
The criminal complaint says the assaults, which allegedly occurred numerous times over a two-year span, were reported in late October. The child told investigators that Fransico would be intoxicated and would touch her while she was watching TV.

Court documents say the child’s mother threw Francisco out of the home after one incident of touching but allowed him to return to the residence after he had stopped drinking. Fransico then sexually assaulted the girl after being readmitted to the home, the charges say.
Fransico denied any wrongdoing during a first interview with investigators but then admitted he may have touched the young girl while he was intoxicated but did not recall any wrongdoing. He also denied the allegation in a second interview and told investigators he was temporarily kicked out of the house for hugging the girl, the complaint says.
Francisco is scheduled to make his first court appearance in the case in February.
