As COVID-19 testing, vaccine sites close, Florida group says need remains in Black communities

In a Tuesday email, Florida Department of Health spokesperson Jeremy Redfern said the department, particularly the Office of Minority Health and Health Equity, has given special attention to minority communities during the pandemic. Redfern said the FDOH has provided resources about vaccination to vulnerable populations throughout the state and continues to provide outreach and education to faith-based and nonprofit organizations.
