The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW), Chicago Metropolitan Chapter held its 2nd Annual Fundraising Dinner and Honoree Recognition, “Black Women Uniting In Their PowHer to Lead.”  The event was held at the Doubletree Hotel , Alsip. The mission of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc is to advocate on behalf of Black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education, and economic empowerment.

The Chicago Metropolitan Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women was chartered on September 20, 2020. The Chicago Metropolitan Chapter is comprised of career professionals from all walks of life who are given the opportunity to advocated for issues of concern to Black women and girls.  In addition, it provides leadership that elevates the quality of life for Black Women and serves as a vehicle to link Black women and girls to corporate and political sectors to enhance their own personal and professional development.  NCBW leaders are Drema Lee Woldman, President, Kimberly Collier, 1st Vice-President;  Latrice Eggleston Williams, PhD, 2nd Vice-President; Audrey Woodard, Fundraising Chairman; Freeda M. Warren, Fundraising Co-Chairman.
