U.S. News Gives Back

As part of our 90th anniversary celebration, U.S. News is partnering with Earth Day, an organization dedicated to educating people about caring for the well-being of the environment on a global scale. Known as the world’s largest environmental movement, Earth Day has over 150,000 partners in 192 countries. U.S. News values the mission of Earth Day and recognizes the urgent need of addressing the declining state of the planet.

Earth Day will host a World Clean Up Day on Saturday, September 16th, an event that everyone can participate in from the comfort of their community. Taking values to action, U.S. News employees will visit various locations around D.C. to clean and pick up trash from the surrounding space. With employees spread across the country, U.S. News values the importance of making service not only an in-person experience but also one that can be done from anywhere.

In addition to Earth Day, U.S. News employees will also work with other organizations in the D.C. area. Among those include working with organizations that serve underserved children, the homeless population, rescue animals and families in need of nutritious meals. U.S. News prioritizes its commitment to the welfare of society, not only on a national scale but also in our local communities.
