The Biden Administration this week announced it will host on Sept. 28 the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health to identify steps the government and public and private sectors should take to address the intersections between food, hunger, nutrition and health. The administration is encouraging interested stakeholders to engage on the topics of ending hunger, improving nutrition and increasing physical activity in the days leading up to and after the convening by hosting their own satellite events. Ahead of the conference, which is the first of its kind to be held since 1969, the Task Force on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health last week released its comprehensive report to inform the participants’ discussions.
