The American Academy of Pediatrics is reviewing its own guidance to eliminate ‘race-based’ medicine and health disparities.

The academy is looking at whether Black Americans are being under-treated and overlooked by doctors.

The academy first started to review its recommendations following the death of George Floyd in 2020.
